After getting a little too big for my britches (haha I’m a southern grandma at times) and getting discouraged because I couldn’t finish a Spanish-language novel without stopping a million times, I decided to take it back to a classic! Meet, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory en Español. To say I was excited when I didn’t have to consult a dictionary or figure out localized slang when I read the first few pages, would a lie. Let me know if you want a review once I finish!
So I’m currently sitting in my living room watching the remaining minutes of the Anderson Cooper & Kathy Griffin New Year’s special on CNN (it’s become quite a family tradition). But I couldn’t help but feel like the moment the clock struck 12, I became a new person. Such a cliche, I know. I kind of think that’s the spirit of the new year, and maybe I had yet to experience that in the past. Anyway, let’s hope this feeling lasts through the rest of the year.
Also, as you may have noticed I’ve been very MIA (almost 4 months), but I have big plans for the year 2014 (no joke). Hope you all will join me on this journey! And make sure you’re following me on Twitta, Insta, Facebook, & Youtube. Expect a new video this week with a surprise guest!
Happy New Year and let’s make 2014 a memorable one.
There’s nothing I love more than a grand opening… Whether it’s for that new clothing shop on Newbury St. or the newest suburban ice-cream parlor (haha a girl’s gotta indulge!). But even more exciting is the official opening of iamsohello! This blog has been on my mind for years but I finally decided to just bite the bloggin bullet and get this started. I’ve been planning the next few months and I have so many ideas and new content that you all can look forward to! My main goal is that you all get to read and watch the videos I’ll be posting and get a better understanding of my point of view and sense of humor. Also be sure to add me on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, & Instagram so you don’t miss out.
